he Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID), Col. Muhudin Ahmed Osman, welcomed the Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship of Somalia Mr. Mustaf Sheik Ali Dhuhulow, to his office.
The meeting, which was a courtesy visit, focused on strengthening the working relationship between the CID and the Immigration, as both institutions jointly provide public services.
The meeting, which included discussions on improving public service delivery, also addressed the need for a strong response to organized crimes such as illegal immigration, document fraud, and counterterrorism efforts, especially as the country is engaged in a campaign to eliminate extremist groups.
Lastly, the meeting was attended by officers from both the CID and the Immigration, with an agreement made to continue holding such meetings regularly.
