A meeting focused on strengthening investigative work and the country’s security situation was held at the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID).

Deputy Police Commissioner Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed, accompanied by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID), Colonel Muhudin Ahmed Osman, met today with investigators and the staff of the Forensic Science Laboratory within the CID.

The meeting emphasized enhancing case investigations, preserving evidence, and preparing to contribute effectively in the fight against the extremist groups responsible for shedding the blood of Somali civilians.

The Deputy Commissioner urged the officers to double their efforts in investigative work and to be fully prepared for operations aimed at eradicating the extremist elements.
