Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID Director)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Serves as the highest-ranking officer responsible for overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of CID.
• Develops and enforces policies, investigation procedures, and crime-fighting strategies.
• Oversees major criminal cases, forensic operations, and intelligence activities.
• Ensures collaboration with local, regional, and international law enforcement agencies such as INTERPOL, AFRIPOL, FBI and counterterrorism units.
• Reports directly to the Commissioner of Police.
