The Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate Col. Muhudin Ahmed Osman, met with Prosecutors from the Anti-Trafficking Department of the Office of the Attorney General and the Organized Crime Department of the Criminal Investigation Directorate.

The meeting, held at the Criminal Investigation Directorate, focused on accelerating and strengthening cooperation in cases related to combating human trafficking and illegal immigration, with a particular emphasis on the increase in such cases over the past two months.

The Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate listened to reports from both departments regarding the suspects involved in these cases, who will soon be presented to the courts for justice.

The Director of the Directorate urged the strengthening of cooperation between the two departments and stressed the importance of ensuring that those involved in the trafficking of Somali migrants face justice, emphasizing the need to combat the illegal trade and exploitation of Somali citizens.
